Design-build of a new boat rental facility located on the bank of the Welland recreational waterway
Facility construction using shipping containers

ISSUE

The City of Welland required a facility for their boat rental operation including equipment storage, changeroom facility, washrooms and an operations building

The facility required deep foundations due to the poor soil conditions onsite

ASSOCIATED OPPORTUNITY

Design-build a functional space that is inviting and showcases the beautiful backdrop of the Welland recreational waterway within the outlined budget

Leverage previous experience with helical pier foundations to maximize support of the containers in spite of the poor soil conditions
