Scott has built his career around one thing above all: work the team can stand behind. He came up through the trades, with Fanshawe College behind him, and brings a builder's eye to how Stolk delivers, always hunting for the better, more efficient way to get a job done without cutting what matters. Turning out a product the company can be proud of, and doing it as a sound business, is what drives him.

When he's off the clock, Scott heads for the outdoors, ideally far enough north that the cell reception gives out. He's the one friends and family call when they've got a building project on the go, he has a soft spot for classic cars, and he's just as content with the quiet of his own backyard.

Melissa keeps Stolk running day to day, with a background in Construction Engineering and Project Management and a focus on the things clients actually feel: their experience, the quality of the work, and the culture behind it. What she's really building is a high-performing team that shows up and gives its best every day, because she knows that's what a good client experience is made of.

Outside work, Melissa is a hockey and baseball mom with a 150-pound Newfoundland for company. When she isn't at the rink or the diamond, she's usually fishing, snowshoeing, or out in the garden tending her fruit trees.

Jhon looks after Stolk's people, with HR training from Niagara College toward his CHRP designation. He's at his best solving the human side of the business, developing a team member, smoothing out a process, or working with leadership to sharpen how the company communicates, leads, and holds itself accountable. To Jhon, strong people practices and a strong company are the same job.

Away from the office, Jhon stays active with cycling, working out, and rock climbing, and spends his downtime with family and friends.

John leads from the field, giving each client his full dedication and heading off problems before they become issues, the kind of foresight that only comes with experience. He takes real satisfaction in handing over a finished, upgraded space to a happy client, and he's just as committed to teaching the next generation the skills that got him here.

Fittingly, John spends his own time renovating and upgrading his house and fixing whatever needs fixing. When he isn't, often you can find him enjoying live music.

John runs the field with a steady hand and good humor about it, he calls his role “controlled chaos” and thrives in it. With an HVAC-R background from Sir Sandford Fleming, he likes taking big projects from start to finish and working alongside people from all different backgrounds and experiences. Planning and executing a job with a strong team is where he's happiest.

Outside work, John is outdoors as much as possible, hiking, at the gym, or anything that keeps him moving.

Tony is the kind of team member others learn from. With welding training from Welding at Its Best and a multimedia technology diploma from Fanshawe College, he brings real trade skill to the job, but what stands out is how he shares it. He's driven by the exchange of knowledge on site, teaching what he knows, staying open to what he doesn't, and helping the crew around him get sharper. The part of the work he values most is watching people grow into it.

Steve runs projects the way lasting relationships get built: by getting them right and keeping people happy. He's spent years solving tough problems for clients and running jobs that end in satisfied owners and repeat business. The part he genuinely enjoys is the relationship side, with both the clients he serves and the subcontractors he counts on to deliver.

Off the clock, Steve is walking the dog and spending time with family in the backyard. His real loves are sailing and the cottage, and the water is where you'd find him given the chance.

Shovon pairs a civil engineering background with a refreshingly simple operating philosophy: get things done. He's the steady kind of project manager who measures a good day by heading home knowing everything is under control, which is exactly what an owner wants from the person running their project.

Away from work, Shovon is usually behind a camera, out playing football, or, in his own words, quite happy just to do nothing.

Demos is a collaborator at heart, with an approach built around the people involved: the clients he works with and the team he works alongside. A Seneca College grad, he's drawn to the exciting, out-of-the-ordinary projects where working closely with everyone is what makes the difference.

Outside work, Demos plays soccer and spends as much time as he can with his dogs.

Shaun is the person clients turn to when they aren't sure where to start. With a background in fluid power design and construction millwrighting from Mohawk and George Brown, he's focused on finding real solutions and building lasting projects that make a difference in people's lives, all on the back of strong relationships with clients, coworkers, and the community.

A serious sports fan, Shaun regularly plays golf, hockey, curling, and baseball, and he loves to travel and experience local life wherever he lands. By his own admission, he has too many interests to list.

Mike helps turn a plan into a finished project, drawing on a mix of construction project management, estimating, and accounting training from George Brown and Sheridan. He's energized by the whole arc of a build: watching it come to life from start to finish, solving the practical problems that keep it on track, and seeing a skilled team's work come together into a quality result for the client.

Mike is a cook who loves exploring regional food styles, a fan of 1980s to 2000s Japanese and German cars and a good watch, and into combat sports and fitness. Most of his time goes to his family and his German Shepherd.

Sam works at the front end of a project, where a client's concept becomes a real, buildable plan. Trained in Construction Engineering Technology at Niagara College, he loves the collaboration of pulling design-build projects together with trades and designers, takes pride in the institutional work that improves the local community, and treats every day as a chance to learn something new.

Sam is a maker outside work too, creating art and developing new recipes, and staying active with hiking, tennis, and rock climbing.

Carson brings an engineering-and-management mindset to Stolk's estimating, with a B.Eng.Mgt. in Electrical Engineering and Management from McMaster and an eye for the systems behind the work. He's focused on building the processes that help Stolk run smoother and scale, from clearer operating procedures to a sharper read on project financials, and on growing into a bigger role in the business over time. What he values most, though, is the people he gets to work with.

Outside the office, Carson keeps moving, skiing through the winter and cycling and swimming the rest of the year.
