Pre-Engineered Buildings

Precision steel, up faster & built to last.

What a pre-engineered building is

Engineered first, then built to exact spec.

As Niagara's authorized Butler Builder, we design, supply, and assemble pre-engineered steel buildings for industrial, commercial, and institutional use. Factory-precise, quick to put up, engineered for decades.

A pre-engineered building has its structure designed and engineered before any material is made. Butler then manufactures every component to your finalized design, precisely cut and pre-punched, so it arrives ready to assemble.

That up-front engineering is exactly what makes these buildings fast to erect and predictable to budget, without giving up the look or the lifespan of conventional construction. Pre-engineering and prefabrication go hand in hand: once we finalize your design, Butler prefabricates the materials to your exact specifications.

Why pre-engineered

Not the metal box you are picturing.

Modern Butler systems take architectural finishes, span wide open interiors without columns, come crane-ready, and expand later without tearing into the original structure. You get the speed without giving up the look.

01

Faster to build

Up to 50% quicker to install than conventional construction.

02

Lower cost of ownership

Made to order, minimal waste, and low long-term maintenance.

03

Clear-span interiors

Wide, column-free space with crane-ready framing.

04

Energy efficient

Insulated roof and wall systems, tested for U-value, that cut heating and cooling costs.

05

Built to expand

Engineered so future additions bolt on cleanly.

06

Architectural finishes

Masonry, glass, composite, or stucco. Your look, not a box.

The Butler difference

Backed by a name that has built steel since 1901.

Butler is the world's leading steel building system maker, refining pre-engineered buildings for over 125 years, with more than a million buildings to its name. Butler hand-picks who carries its brand, and in Niagara, that is Stolk. Their MR-24 roof system has a 50-plus-year track record.

The Butler difference

Canadian-made steel, engineered for Canadian conditions.

Behlen Industries builds its steel building systems in Brandon, Manitoba, and is Canada's largest manufacturer of pre-engineered steel buildings. Canadian manufacturing means shorter supply lines, no cross-border delays, and structures designed from the outset for Canadian snow, wind, and seismic loads under the National Building Code.

Behlen offers both rigid frame and frameless systems, so a project that needs a clear-span industrial plant and one that needs a compact frameless structure can both be sourced from the same supplier. As an authorized Behlen builder, we choose whichever system fits the project, rather than fitting the project to one system.
