The problem we were solving
Boggio Pharmacy had a busy dispensary and retail space that needed expanding, but it could not close for the renovation and addition.
The project transformed an existing stand-alone pharmacy into a medical centre anchored by that pharmacy, bringing multiple medical practices under one roof to better serve patients and customers. Because the pharmacy had to stay open, the work was completed in phases so operations could continue throughout.
Existing medical practices on the property also required temporary relocation so the older buildings could be demolished and construction could proceed. The finished centre houses two family physician practices, an optometrist office, a Life Labs medical testing office, a home healthcare and mobility department, and the pharmacy, all in one fully accessible building in the heart of Port Colborne.

The pharmacy and retail space could not close. Work was sequenced in phases so the dispensary kept serving customers through demolition, renovation, and a two-storey addition.
Physicians were relocated into temporary portable offices on site, letting their practices continue while two existing medical buildings were demolished.
A central elevator and fully accessible design brought six separate services into one building that any patient can navigate.
